Abstract
The restoration of grid structures after a grid failure is essential. This paper deals with the start-up process of a combined cycle power plant in Austria, which is realized with different constellations to hydropower plants. A real start-up process was first carried out and then confirmed with a simulation and the boundary conditions for a successful start-up process were addressed.
