WLCö - Whole Life Carbon Austria: Comparable life cycle assessments for buildings and construction methods in Austria

WLCÖ coordinates a scientifically sound, nationally harmonised method for the life cycle assessment of buildings in Austria, in order to consistently record and evaluate both embodied and operational environmental impacts. On this basis, construction systems are compared, future decarbonisation pathways are modelled, and practice-oriented guidelines as well as proposals for adapting norms, regulations and certification schemes are developed.
