25_FFG_SEVERITY - Safe integration of e-scooters into the overall transport system

With the increase in e-scooters, there has also been a significant increase in traffic conflicts and accidents. Within certain limits, e-scooters have been largely equated with bicycles by legislators, without however taking into account the different requirements. This project therefore examines whether this equivalence is justified and what future requirements must be placed on e-scooters as well as on the shared infrastructure.
