Övvvi - Sustainability through public transport: avoid, shift, improve

Övvvi is trying to use new recording systems to better identify changing mobility needs in public transport. The ISV is taking the scientific lead to test the automatic recording of passenger flows on a laboratory scale and to provide proof of concept. The basis for the implementation is a comparison of camera-based, Wi-Fi-based and mobile radio-based approaches. Combinations of the approaches will also be considered. With a view to increasing the attractiveness and cost-effectiveness of public transport, prototypes will be implemented for selected issues. Special attention is given to the combination of data via a mobility data space.
