Personal profile

Research interests

I am the Head of the Tissue Engineering, Biomaterials, and Bioelectricity Lab (TEBB Lab) and Lead of the HerPlacenta Research Group (HPRG) at TU Graz. My research focuses on the development of advanced biomaterials, 3D in vitro tissue models, and regenerative medicine strategies. Through interdisciplinary and translational approaches, my team integrates material science, cell biology, and bioengineering to design physiologically relevant models for disease research, women's health, and preclinical drug testing.
